Terms of use
These terms cover the use of Castlemagner GAA's website at https://castlemagnergaa.thecrest.ie/, and any booking, purchase or entry made through it.
Using the site means accepting them. The club can be reached at info@castlemagnergaa.com.
The website
The club tries to keep fixtures, results, opening times and prices correct, but they change — sometimes at short notice and sometimes by somebody else's decision. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that a match will be played or a facility will be open.
The site's content, photographs and crest belong to the club. Please do not republish them without asking.
Bookings
A booking is confirmed when you have paid and received a confirmation by email, and not before. A slot held while you are part-way through paying is released if the payment is not completed.
The club's booking terms — cancellations, refunds, how long before you must cancel, and what happens if the pitch is unplayable — are set by the club and shown to you before you pay. They form part of these terms.
Bookings are made by adults. You confirm you are eighteen or over when you book. A booking made for a team of children is made by the adult responsible for them, in their own name.
The shop and fundraising
Prices are in euro and include VAT where it applies. Payment is taken by Stripe.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 you may cancel most things bought online within fourteen days. That right does not apply to a booking for a specific date, to an item made or printed to your order, or to a donation.
The club lottery
Where the club runs a lottery, it does so under a permit or licence, and the rules of the draw, the prizes, the closing time and the promoter are set out on the lottery page itself. Entrants must be eighteen or over.
An entry is a chance, not a purchase of a prize. Once a draw has taken place an entry cannot be refunded.
If gambling has stopped being fun, Gamblers Anonymous Ireland and Problem Gambling Ireland will talk to you.
Behaviour
Do not use this site to send abuse, to break the law, or to try to reach parts of it that are not yours. The club may refuse a booking or block access.
Liability
The club is responsible for what it does, and nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud. Beyond that, the club is not liable for losses it could not reasonably have foreseen — a missed match because a fixture listing was out of date, for instance.
Use of the club's facilities is subject to the club's own rules and any supervision requirements. Those are a matter between you and the club, not between you and this website.
The website's operator
The site is provided to the club by Imperial Resources Limited, trading as The Crest. Your agreement about the booking, the goods or the entry is with the club.
Changes, and which law
The club may change these terms; the version in force is the one on this page when you use the site.
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
The club's own terms
The club has not added anything here. If it collects personal details in any way other than through this website, it should.
